Ay! Que de nuevo?
Family! It has been a wonder and busy week. Lots of wonderful wonderful things are happening in our area right now and we have many people to teach. It is a miracle.
The weather has been beautiful! My favorite fall colors. It is strange to think that I have already spent 6 months in my current area. At the end of this week we will find out if we will be getting transfered, so I'll be sure to fill you in! CROSS YOUR FINGERS.
I will just talk about a wonderful miracle that happened last night! We went to go and visit a member who lives in our area, but he doesn't go to our ward becuase he is supporting a different Spanish group that meets at the Stake Center. Anyways, we wanted to visit him becuase he lives in some apartments that are closed to the public, but we had a few contacts we wanted to follow up on who live in those apartments. So we went, and at first this member would not let us leave his apartment until we ate like 3lbs of Flan. Flan. Man, it was hard hahaha but afterwards we went with him to visit some of the people that he knew that lived in his apartments. So we went and knocked on the first door of a man named Luis! He let us right in! That is the power of members. Introducing missionaries to our friends! Do it.
Luis and his wife are now investigating the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They are also going to make us food next Saturday. They are from Cuba! This will be the first time on my mission trying food from Cuba, I have hear that it is delicious. It was also really interesting to listen to stories from Cuba. They are refugees from the revolution. Really cool. Their accent is wonderful.
The mission is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love every minute. The people are wonderful and I feel a tremendous amount of love for these people.
I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth in our day. I know that it is the only way to find complete and full joy. Try me.
Los queremos mucho!
