Si bueno?
Que tal Familia?!
I hope everyone has had an incredible week! Illinois is a wonderful place. I am planning on sending a picture of the humidity this week, honestly I have gotten so used to it that it almost feels refreshing...kinda haha
This upcoming week will be the week of transfer calls!! I'll fill you all in on what happens, but cross your fingers that President will let me train hahah! I've always wanted a kid of my own. (that sentence probably doesn't make sense unless you understand la jerga de la misión)
This week we taught Lucy once again! I dont remember if I mentioned her name last week, but this is the investigator that one of our members brought to church last week. We taught her the Restoration this week and it went really really well. We have really high hopes for her and she is progressing splendidly. She came to church with her son again yesterday. Keep her in your prayers please!
This week during zone conference we focused on the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was probably one of the best zone conferences of my mission. So many experiences and testimonies were shared it was incredible the Spirit that we felt as we discussed the roots and beginning of our church and the Prophet Joseph.
The preparation for our training was really inspiring to me as well. We trained about how to deal with negative comments and attacks on the church, as well as how to help people who are struggling to believe that there is a Prophet on the earth once again. Here is a wonderfully humbling quote that stuck out to me, "Brothers and sisters, let me give you a caution: you won’t be of much help to others if your own faith is not securely in place." -Elder Anderson
I hope we take that to heart. The eternal truths that only God can provide do not come to us as we sit complacency in a church pew or zone out while someone is teaching a lesson.
Asking for these answers come from one place. On your knees.
When was the last time you asked God if He is there?
I know that He is not only there, but He also listens.
I love my life!!
tengan una semana llena de milagros y bendiciones
les quiero mucho
se me cuiden
