Hola Familia! Que tal están?
It has been a wonderful week! Honestly, I love my life. It has been such a blessing to be with my trainer Elder Marchant again. He is filled with amazing desires to get out and do the work! We are going to accomplish so much in the next 5 weeks (until he goes home) I am so excited!
WOW! It is 2017! I only just starting remembering to write 2016 in my journal...that is crazy to me. I have decided that having the New Year start right after Christmas is a super inspired pattern. During the month of December we spend our time focusing on Christ and the promises fulfilled at His birth, and then during during the New Year it serves as a reminder of why it is all possible. New Years, new beginings, new goals, new life, new chances. All made availble to us because of One whose birth we celebrate only a few weeks previous.
It has been wonderful to see that people are all around us are looking to start again and take the necessary steps to see changes in their lives. I love with all my heart walking up to people and asking them about their new year, and then inviting them to "come and see" what makes me happy at the start of a new year. I invite you all to take advantage of a wonderful opportunity to let people know of the hope and peace that the Gospel bringt. And if you aren't a member of our church, here is your invitation!
This week we had the offical transfer on wednesday and somehow we were able to get everything done on time! It was a beautiful feeling. 160 missionaries all where they needed to be, with who they needed to be, safe. (deep breath, sigh) Really gratifying.
The rest of the week went by really quickly! We had MLC and Elder Marchant and I gave our first training together since being companions a year and a half ago. It felt wonderfully familiar, and we are excited for next week's zone conferences!
I love this work! I love meeting new people and feeling God's love for others. It truly is a wonderful life. Be happy. Remember to breath. Trust in God.
con mucho amor,
