Hola famila!
Esta semana ha sido magnifico! Pero a la vez, muy ocupada.
It continues to astonish me how wonderful it feels to be a part of this work. This week, I feel especially grateful to the Lord for everything that he has done for me and continues to do!
This week I had and extremely special experience! Do you remember Jennifer? The women that I talked about a few months ago? The one who Elder Reyes and I contacted miraculously? Well this week the Elders working in her area (we didn't continue teaching her because she doesn't speak Spanish) were able to set up her baptismal date finally! She has been waiting a long time to be baptised, but has been faithfully coming to church every Sunday since we came in contact with her. Well anyways, we got a call on Wednesday from the other Elders saying that Jennifer had asked if I could baptise her! I was surprised that she chose me out of all of the Elders that had taught her, but I was extremely humbled by the sweet opportunity.
The baptismal service was fantastic. Super sweet and simple, but powerful all the same. Jennifer was practically bouncing around she was so happy and excited. It amazed me to how prepared she was to make those promises with the Lord.
I know that the Church of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth and that the true authority to act in the name of God is being exercised by those who righteously hold the Priesthood. It is a power that is real and literal in every sense of the meaning. It is power and authority that can only be given by God, and acted upon in worthiness. It is the gift that brings about the Salvacion of all mankind. I love this gospel.
Have a wonderful week! I pray for you all!
Con mucho amor,

eating with member from Jalisco Guadalajara Mexico. The food is called Tortas Ahogadas. They are unbelievably good and super hard to find someone who knows how to make them. When I meet people on the street I tell them that I am from Jalisco Mexico. Hispanics find it funny because I am white.
