Hey family and friend!
This week has been overwhelmingly busy and overwhelmingly joyful! Did you not love General Conference? It was fantastic beyond all belief.
Our weekend has involved pretty much every possible meeting and event known to man.
MLC, Stake MCM, 5 Sessions of Conference, Transfers, and today we are going to go out and tract with all of the new arrive missionaries. Should be super fun!
I should let you know what is going to happen with transfers!

I will be staying here in Aurora with Elder Tedders! I am so excited. That means that he will offically be the companion with whom I have stayed the longest. And this will also be the longest time that I have spent in one area! At the end of this transfer I will have 6 months here, one 4th of my mission! Crazy haha We are really excited though becuase the work is pushing forward faster than ever! It is amazing to see the hand of the Lord in our everyday lives.
One cool experience happened on friday. It was after our MLC (missionary leadership council) and we got back late from the mission home. We had in our plans to go and stop by a referral to contact them, so we went. Even though we should have been back in our apartment planning for our upcoming zone training this Wednesday...we still haven't done that. Anyways we felt really inspired to go and contact her, but when we knocked on her door, no one was home. However, we knew that their was some specific reason we came to that area. So we literally started searching and walking up and down the street looking for anyone or anything to talk to. I noticed that one of the apartment doors was open to a building of about 10 apartments. It was late at night and no one was on the streets so finally I said, "there is no way that this apartment door is open for no reason". So we went in. My companion is super diligent so as we walked in the door (keep in mind we were behind schedule and it was about8:30pm) he said, "last floor last door" meaning that we would knock every door if we had to. We went immediately for the bottom floor to start. We knock and the door, and a man opens the door with a big smile. We started to talk to him and found out that he was from Iraq and had a thick accent. He had been receiving missionary discusions about a year ago but had lost comunication with the missionaries and moved. He invited us in. We sat and talked and taught. It was a wonderful experience. I learned many wonderful things about beliefs he cherishes as a Muslim. He is willing to read the Book of Mormon again. He will be meeting with the English speaking Elders tonight! They are bringing with them one of their less active members that speaks Arabic. Miracles.
Have a wonderful week! I love you all!
