Familia!
Wow, what a fast week! We are sitting in the rain right now which is sad becuase it is January and I want some more snow. But hey, that's okay. It has been a beautiful week to do missionary work!
We started off the week by having our last two zone conferences for this transfer. The last two that Elder Marchant will ever participate in which is crazy! But we went to Naperville and Shaumburg, which are the two stakes that I have actually served in. So it was really great to be back up in Schaumburg. We actually picked up the Elders that are currently serving in Arlington Heights my old area! So strange to drive through old areas, floods of memories on every street corner! It was great. The conferences themselves went really well! We are happy becuase our schedule should calm down for the next few weeks which is great.
My mother asked for a few different updates so I will include those here:
The first question was about Rebeca! The woman that I taught in my last area before I was transfered. I found out from Elder Tedders that she accepted the baptismal invitation and was just recently put on date for the end of February! Keep her in your prayers, she needs to get married to her boy friend still but she has continued coming to church!
I also heard that a few of the different members that we were working with to come back to church have finally made that decision. It is also incredible to hear that some of your work payed off and people are coming closer to Christ.
Which brings me to my biggest and best announcement....
Remember Sergio and Elena Garcia? A little more than a year ago Elder Marchant and I had the priviledge of finding, teaching, and baptizing them. Well, we just got news...
On Februrary 1st they will be going to the temple for the first time!!!!
And on Februrary 4th they will be sealed together as a family forever!!!
President has given us permision to accompany them and we couldn't be more excited.
Please keep them in your prayers so that everything will work out for those dates!
I love you all! Have a wonderful week,
I'll send pictures later hopefully.
Con mucho amor,
