How is everyone? It was wonderful to see your smiling faces on Sunday! Thank you for allowing that spiritual environment to give me everything that I need to focus 110% on the work. I love you all!
Well, traslados happened! Or I should say is happening. And I should probably get used to typing in English, becuase I will now be serving in an English area! Crazy right? All these güeros I'm not going to know what to do, how to teach, or how to eat! The area is in Woodridge Illinois. Hahaha I am really excited and very blessed. This is one of the most missionary minded wards in our whole mission. We are going to do work!
Hey, guess what? My new companion is Elder Marchant my trainer! It has been a whole year since we served with each other and it has been really fun to catch up on some memories and see how we each have grown. He is a super stud, I am excited to learn lots from him. This will be his last transfer in the mission field so he will be my first companion and I will be his last. Pretty cool right?
So I just spoke with you on Sunday, so I don't know how much I can update you on...but I would love to share some thoughts with you!
I first just want to express that this has been the best year of my life. For the entirety of 2016 I have had the privilege to serve God. I wouldn't trade a single moment. My heart fills with emotion as I think about the experiences that I have been given and the people that I have met. God is so wonderful. I have also taken advantage of the time that I have to study more about the life of the Savior Jesus Christ. His birth and mortal ministry, His crucifixion, death, and resurrection. The more that I learn the more that I am awestruck and amazed. I love the Savior. Every aspect, action and expression. He is the Promised Messiah. He is the Christ.
Psalms 27:
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
If any of us are ever going through something difficult, learn to rely on Him.
I love you all and hope you have a wonderful week! You are in my prayers,
Con mucho amor,
